👋 I’m Lois

I'm a person doing things. Currently, working as a Associate Creative Director at Phantom.

I’m inspired to make work that aims to make people sit up and take note - sometimes that’s in shock; other times in humour. I’ve had the privilege of working on some really meaningful – and pretty life-changing – projects that have helped me discover how important purpose and substance are to finding fulfilment in my work.

After studying fine art and visual communication for 4 years, I timed my graduation and entrance into the world of full-time employment with the 2008 global recession. Searching for commercial art projects at that time did wonders for developing a thick skin and a sense of humour - vital qualities for anyone entering a career in creativity.

Since then, I’ve made some (what my Dad would’ve described as) proper serious work for clients such as Google, Youtube, Johnnie Walker, the FT and Age UK; and plenty of not-so-serious stuff for Nando's, Sony Music, Zendesk, innocent drinks and a WeWork* parody, which won a Drum Chip Shop Award.

I’m also a published illustrator repped by KJA Artists.
